What You'll Do

As the Human Resources Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to leadership while overseeing all aspects of human resources operations. You will play a key role in cultivating a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Human Resources functions and HR staff
  • Develop, implement, and administer HR policies, programs, and best practices
  • Manage compensation, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment for technical and manufacturing positions
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies
  • Provide guidance and support regarding employee performance, conduct, and workplace concerns
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and federal contractor requirements
  • Oversee FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OFCCP, affirmative action, and related compliance programs
  • Support and align HR initiatives with the company's Quality Management System
  • Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvements that support organizational goals
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources management experience, preferably within a federal contractor environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing compensation, benefits, leave programs, and employee relations
  • Proven success recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, or other specialized roles
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
  • Experience supporting multi-state and/or international operations
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, technology, or highly regulated environments
